First of all, hi, I'm 14 in 9th grade.I have a guy in my Arabic class. Since the first lesson, we had a strange connection. We just looked at each other. Its been about a month since school started, and I get nervous every time I see him. He's a swimmer, we have no mutual friends that can set us up or something. I tried to smile at him but when he passed I froze.. :/ I don't know what to do but I always see him in the hallways and look at him in class.. sometimes he looks at me too but I can't make conclusions from that. Anyway, how can I talk to him? I truly don't know what he feels about me but he's quiet so he won't be the one to start the conversation:( at least not in the beginning!:D

Not complicated. Just say "Hi" in passing or ask to borrow something (you kids still use pencils?) which you can then arrange to return later, with... say cookies, as a thank you. Be confident if he questions the cookies - "Geez, what rock have you been under not to have heard of Thank You Cookies!?". Any guy that turns down or makes fun of cookies, unless he's allergic, you don't want anyway.
