Hi there,
I have a Great Dane and she is very well house trained. She does have anxiety problems and was never able to crate train her due to that! But she goes through these really really BAD periods where she completely DESTROYS my house. Me and my husband are going crazy... she well poop and pee at least twice to three times a day while I am at work. My husband lets her out every morning at 6 than I let her out again at 7 than I come home on my lunch break to let her out and see her than after work. She well sometimes poo more than once at a time and pee in three different spots three times a day! She well chew my coffee table and my wall trimming in my house! She even eats chunks of metal! Off my stair case! Than she goes back to being good again! We are so confused as to what we are dooing wrong?? This last time she did it she is in heat and she is forcing it out and right after she has just gone outside?? And she is pooping and peeing in her diaper at least three times a day even though she is being let out constantly! What are we doing wrong?? What can we do to stop this??

I'm a cat person, so you would do well to check back now and then to read dog experts' advice. My thought is to get her spayed. That alone might solve a few problems. Has she been checked by a vet for a uti or other elimination difficulties?

Well I breed her so I won't be getting her spayed and it has never happened before. And I have but there is nothing wrong there the vet said it's more of a separation thing but I don't know how to fix it nothing works

Ah, good details to know! Thanks!

We have several experts who will give you excellent advice about the separation anxiety problem. They also will ask you good questions to figure out if something else or something more is going on with her. Please stay tuned!
