two children
each parent is custodial parent over one child in separate households.
The teen child is in a grouphome as per the courts do to behavior issues. The custodial parent of the teen child collects support from the other parent, because his/her income was lower than the other parent so the court only ordered one child support order. NOw the custodial parent of the child in the group home no longer wants to pay the support because the child has been temporarily placed in the home and that's fine, can we go to the courts and ask we pay X amount of $ for the other child (that is in the home of the other parent) based on what needs to be paid for the child in the grouphome?

Can you restate that so it makes sense. You stated the custodial parent of the teen child collects support. Then you say the teen child is in a group home. Then you say the custodial parent of the child in the group home no longer wants to pay support. Which is totally contradictory.

So take your time and explain what the real story is.
