I have a Beckett Model AFG oil burning furnace that won't stay lit. The reset button keeps popping up. When I press the reset button. The furnace kicks on and I have a flame in the combustion chamber. It will run for about 35 seconds and then shut off, causing the reset button to pop back up. I've replaced the CAD cell and transformer and still get the same thing. I've jumpered the thermostat terminals at the primary and still get the same thing so I am ruling out the thermostat. My next course of action is to replace the primary, but I wanted to get someone else's opinion prior because it is a little pricey (Honeywell- R8184). Is there something else that I should be focusing on rather than the primary? I would love to just let the landlord take care of this, but he is three hours away and his hired goons know less about this than I do.

Dirty or bad cad cell will cause this problem too.
