Hello,
My husband is installing a basement bathroom at his sisters house and he needs the measurements for the shower. Can anyone help?
Thank You

Um... I don't think that anyone can do that that isn't there with him. He should go look at showers first, get the measurements, then work from there in the space he has allotted.

Tickle's correct. You have the cart before the horse. First off, is the basement roughed in for a shower? Drainage and vent in place? Next , what type of shower is he planning to install? Custom tile or manufactured base and enclosure? If a manufactured one he will have to get the drain measurements from the base and pipe the trap and raiser to it. This is no week end job for a home owner. If the drainage isn't in the cement will have to come up and a branch drain and vent through the roof or up to the attic for a revent will have to be installed. Hubby's letting himself in for major surgery, does he have the necessary skills and tools to do the job? Best of luck, Tom
