Forgive me for the lack of detail in this post. I watched this movie between 1998-2002. I want to watch or know about it again.

I remember a few key things about this movie. The first thing I remember was around the opening of the movie there was a scene with some sort of army ravaging a village on lake shore and it shows a few of our hero warriors slowly drifting to the villages shore wearing over garments and those Vietnamese conical hats. (like raiden from mortal kombat) The begin to dislodge off the canoe thing and battle. An example of the type of fighting happened was one of the warriors drove his sword into the ground and ripped it up in a swinging motion driving the force of his swing to hit the enemy soldiers from a far. A bit cheesy but I loved it.

Another scene I remember was one of the warriors fighting the army general on a bridge at night. The General went their alone to fight them and ending up dying (obviously) It was the greatest fight scene but I distantly remember a bridge and night time battle with the armies general.

Last but not least I remember the film having some sort of love story. Either two of the warriors loved the same girl and fought each other for her. OR one accidentally killed her during their fight I can't quite remember.
