So In my situation, I am in escrow for 15 acres with a mobile on it that was abandoned... the bank posted in March that its value was less than 300.00 and therefore they could do whatever they wanted with it but they left it there for obvious reasons. Then they held an auction in September and no one came. Now the bank wants us to accept a bill of sale from them and take care of it ourselves. There is a 93.00 lien at the permitting office of the county. We don't mind taking care of the lien amount, but can we just accept a bill of sale and take that to the Dept of Housing as proof that we own it? We are in CA.
