I became disabled in 2009 and was awarded ssdi in 2011. I put my 12 year old son as a dependent and his mother which became disabled last year also on ssi started receiving monthly payments and 2 years of back pay nder my benefits. At the same time she filed for child support and my ssdi monthly income is garnished. Child support services refuses to help me and they keep giving me the run around. The social security department is telling me she can't get both and I will get every cent back once they find out. We all live in southern California. What can I do as I am struggling and can not provide for my 2 year old daughter?
