Hi,
Im new to the website and Im really hoping you can help me out! I have a Sony DCR-TRV330 model and I'm having the following problem .When I turn on my camcoder and click on the menu button, I can see all the menu options on my LCD, like language, 16:9, and all the other, but as soon as I click on any of them it gives me the Title preset menu(Hello, Happy Birthday, Best Wishes, Our Annivevrsary, etc). Even at that point if I try to click on the "Hello" or "Happy Birthday" then it exits out of all the menus. No matter what menu function I press it goes to that. I have tried reseting the camcoder but it still does the same thing. I think there is a button that I'm not pressing or it must be something simple because I take really good care of my camcoder, it has not been dropped, hit or any water damage at all. It's in it's case and I use it on special occasions. The only other different thing I did was connect my camcoder to the computer by using an ilink cable to transfer a tape to a DVD which came out perfect. A couple days later is when I noticed the problem. Could there be any relation? All help will be appreciated! Update: I connected my camcoder to the computer and something really weird happened. The exposure button acts as the enter button on the menus, and the exposure button is no longer working, it seems that by some reason the buttons are getting mixed up when I connect it. Like I said before I tried reseting and it's still the same, does anyone know to do a hard reset on the camcoder, or anything that can help it, it's almost as if it's stuck! :( Sorry to make it so long, I'm desperate and frustrated!

Thanks a Million!

I am having the same problem as you. I really don't think that it's from firewire connections though. Have you figured out how to fix it yet?
