This is a long shot but I;m going to do one of those that film with that guy in it questions...
It is a dark animated movie from approx 1970-late 1980's set in a forest.
A young boy is following an anult of some sort and they are walking through a dark forest up and down rolling hills and there are monsters that try to attack them ( a group of goblins with large noses with sticks ) but I am sure they run away.
The scene is similar setting to that of a mario game ( not in style but in layout) you see the row of forest behind them and the ground moving up and down like archer of hills and when the creatures jump out it shows you them from behind the character and then they turn round and run. This used to give me nightmares and every so often I have another one about this scene. I cannot remember what it was it was possibly british and I think there is a fairy involved...
If you can help at all I'd be amazed and thankful, apologies for the bad grammar and spelling but I have ben at the computer for 3 hours trying to find out the name of this.
I used to watch it on VHS mid 90's.
It isn't The Elm-Chanted Forest.
Cheers
