Good - ask the person you're getting the lenses from.

We're all volunteers here. It takes time to get to some of the questions.

What does "registered in this website" mean?

I suppose you mean for cleaning? I had hard contacts before soft contacts were thought of.
Dust was my major complaint and I finally learned to pop an offender out, put in my mouth, tongue it a bit, and put it back in my eye. Saline is a disinfectant. Still best rinse before returning to eye.

This is a great way to get a bad eye infection. Your mouth is full of bacteria.

Saline is NOT a disinfectant.

"This is a great way to get a bad eye infection. Your mouth is full of bacteria."
So true, but good, bad,and ugly bacteria also. You ever see a cat or dog lick their wounds?
Reckon I missed 12 years of not having any sick day with my eyes

"Saline is NOT a disinfectant."
I beg to totally disagree!

Acanthamoeba is just waiting for its moment to burst forth.

"In medicine, saline (also saline solution) is a general phrase referring to a sterile solution of sodium chloride (NaCl, more commonly known as salt) in water but is only sterile when it is to be placed parenterally (such as intravenously), otherwise, a saline solution is a salt water solution. The sterile solution is typically used for intravenous infusion, rinsing contact lenses, nasal irrigation, and often used to clean a new piercing." (Wikipedia et al.)

Sure - I've just never seen a dog or cat lick its eyes. Is that what you do when you are injured, lick the wound? I fail to see the connection.

I know you don't believe that saline is not a disinfecting solution - saline is water with salt added. How is that a disinfectant? Basic chemistry, 101.

And, yes, I reckon you did go 12 years without a sick day.
