My sister who has a variety of mental issues including borderline personality disorder and depression has been neglectful to her children since the day they were born. My niece and nephew are constantly being juggle between me(aunt) my brother and my parents because of her inability to provide for them. Everything is overwhelming for her yet still insists she is a good mother. My brother and I would love more then anything to receive custody of my niece and nephew ages five and seven they are starting to prefer being with us also. In the approach for asking for custody there is a fine line where my sister takes them and keeps us out of their life just for merely raising the question of her ability. We fear is approaching this that the children will be placed in a unsafe situation. Is there a way to contact Someobe letting them know we are planning an intervention so when we do we are able to make sure they arnt with an unstable mother?

What for? If you intervene, intervene.

Fish or cut bait.

I'm unsure what your asking? We would like custody of them because we feel they are being neglected. The last straw for me was today the school called my mom and said they were sent to school without lunches
