All of a sudden, we were having bad water pressure throughout our 3 bathroom house... and all the faucets, and the washing machine. I took off a few faucet screens, and gold colored crap came out! Like blobs! Then then toilet wouldn't flush, and the water connecting line was clogged... it's terrible... what the heck is it?? Is it time for professionals to look at it? Thanks... this is scary! Our house is about 40 yrs old. We have all copper pipes. HELP!!

Are you on a pump or city water? This "gold covered crap", is it hard or does it crumble in your fingers? Regards, Tom
