Fuse for GS6500 Sears Craftsman Tractor Mower 25 Horsepower

I have a problem with starting my GS6500 tractor mower. I initially thought it was a dead battery. The battery was charged up and the engine turned over several times but wouldn't start. Finally, it started with a Quick Start (225 amps). The tractor started, but stopped when I drove from the driveway onto the grass. It will not re-start and does nothing when I turn the key. Thought maybe it was a blown fuse but cannot locate the fuse. Can anyone help? J

Hi,
Commonly it is in the red wire(s) leaving the starter. If two wires, pick the small one. Look near the battery or beneath the hood near the solenoid/key switch.
Peace,

Thanks. It is not at that location. I called my son, he came over, located the fuse which was difficult to see. I think he said it was closer to the seat. The fuse was blown. He replaced it, and the tractor is running very smoothly. Jackie McBride
