Landlord/maintencance entered without giving anyone notices. I want to go to small claims court. How much is a reasonable amount to sue for?

To sue for what, exactly?
Was there some sort of maintenance issue that they were there for?

No there was no maintenance issue. They installed carbon monoxide alarms in each apartment and did not give any one of us notice..

The amount by which you were damaged.
Which I assume is $0.00

You may sue for the amount allowed in the lease for failure to give notice, I doubt there is one. And/or you may sue for any actual damages, which is none.
I am sorry, there is no case here at all. In fact it seems very petty to me. Is there other issues with landlord ? It would seem that the landord is doing their job and adding needed equipment to the apartments. I would think you would be glad they are doing this. Not hateful and wanting to see what you can get out of it.

Are you sure no notice was given? Maybe they posted something in the building lobby that you missed?
In any case. as noted, a reasonable amount to sue for would be $0. You incurred no damages, not even an inconvenience. They were probably operating under a law requiring them to install CO2 detectors. So they were actually making you safer.
File ion Small Claims court, you deserve to lose the filing fee for even thinking this is litigation worthy.
