I have a 2006 Honda Civic that starts and then immediately dies. The dash lights and windows won't work either. It has gas, the battery is good. Has anyone had this issue or any idea what it might be? I have already checked all fuses, checked the battery, had a simple diagnostic test run (which showed the computer couldn't connect with the dash control panel). It ran fine Thursday and this problem started Friday.

I'd take it to Honda--it sounds like it may be a security system problem. If you have a second key, try that first.

I tried the second key and it does the same thing...
