I broke up with ex after 3.5 years. Because after so long he still didn't know what he wanted. His heart was not with us!. that's why I left him.

Today, after 3 months he called, but I didn't pick up the phone.

If he really made up his mind and wants to be with me and commit I may accept him but he should try HARD!

Any advise? I don't know how to communicate, if I should at all!

I would communicate if you truly still want to be with him. But don't rush back into anything, make sure that he is showing that he is going to work harder!

3 months, huh? Wouldn't it be a shame to waste all your hard work & effort, just to call him back & find out that he just wanted to "see how you are"? I hate that! I agree with you, If he made up his mind that he wants YOU, he should try harder than one lousy phone call. If he doesn't, then you're not missing out on much, are you?
