Hi, My husband and I are trying to conceive, 5 months now, I am 25 and he's 30, we are both smokers, can't say we eat healthy, we just eat like any normal person... we have sex every other day if not daily, and of course before, during, and after ovulation... Why am I not getting pregnant! Some girls told me to place a pillow under my back! If any of you have any advice, I will try everything! Thank you

5 months is not that long to try to conceive. You need to prepare your body for a pregnancy in advance. You should not smoke! You need to eat a healthy diet. Have you read about premature birth and low birth weight in babies of smoking mothers?

No I haven't because as Jenny said 5 months is not long enough.. But how come some girls get Pregnant after a one night stand, while the guy pulled out! How lucky are they! I asked a doctor one time, and he said smoking before pregnancy not necessarily causes premature pregnancy, its smoking while pregnant that affects the baby, but he also said smoking might delay conception. I was just wondering if there are any vitamins or a certain diet maybe a certain move or position that can help with conception, and fertility

You should have your body ready to carry a baby. Stop smoking and eat right. You will get pregnant when it is meant to be. If after a year of trying and no luck, both of you should be tested for any fertility issues.
