Human Gold Plus Plan. To see a specialist in the network is a referral needed?
They state(Certain Benefits) no elaboration Cardiologist for example, would need a referral from my primary? Does anybody know?

It wouldn't be unusual to see your doctor first and have him give you a referral to a cardiologist.

I will have to wait and see. The HMO I have now no referral is necessary .The company Medica. Use to be okay. But not many doctors will take the insurance. Thanks

I am not up on this years plans, but yes it was requried before. There is a 800 number to call for plan details and info.

I sold them last year, the thing with the secure plans, they all have some trade offs.
They provide better coverage than just medicare but normally less coverage ( but lower price) than medicare with a medicare suppliment.

I had the Medica HMO. I didn't pay very much for anything. Just my part B.
Operations over the years, medicines. Possibly I spend only about $200 over a couple of years.
But suddenly in 2012 many of the doctors would no longer take the plan. My doctor suggested
Humana because all the doctors took this insurance
