How to replace, clean or free the diaphragm for a Honeywell heating zone valve
40004850-001. The diaphragm of the zone valve was replaced last Dec. 2011 and is not working again.

How about a better part number like V8043E or sum such similar number. The number you gave is a SKU which will not work on Honeywell's main site.

Thank you for your response. I just got home and I will look to find a better part number. The diagrams sent in give me a better idea where to look for the correct number.

Yes I found it: diagrams at this site showed exactly where to look. I needed a ladder.

I'm not sure so I'll answer here too. The part number for the Honeywell zone valve diaphragm is V8043E1012. It is a 24V 50,60 Hz W 0.32 amps @ 60 Hz diaphragm or valve.

Just reviewed the Honeywell link you supplied for the zone valve problem presented. I have a V8043E covered in the supplied link. This will be a big help in trying to loosen the valve. At first I was confused because the number on my valve is slightly different V8043E(1012). Think I got now. Thanks for your help.
