My daughter is living with someone who is a convicted felon for domestic violence, and drugs, can she lose custody of my 2 year old grandson?

If the father of the child goes to court and points out your daughter's poor judgement and that she is putting the child at risk, then yes, she could lose custody.

On the other hand, presumably he has done his time and learned the error of his ways. So the chilld's father would probably need to show that the felon is continuing activity of that sort.

Is he on probation? Is he a sex offender?

There are children living in households with both parents are felons.

The issue here is most likely a non custodial parent ? Is that the issue?

The non custodial parent can ask the court for custody for a 1000 reasons, don't mean he will will, Yes he can use it, but the crime, his probation status, and other factors will all be reviewed perhaps
