I have a garage with a truss roof (pre-built trusses) and I want to use the space by converting the trusses into 'stick' built.

Is this possible? Where could I get info on supporting the roof with Headers to enlarge the space?

1. Is the gable facing front, is it hip
2. what's the garage header span,
3. do the trusses have built in eave tails
4. is truss spacing on 24 oc
5. Is ridge blocked between truss spacing
6. will this be under permit?
7. what is pitch?
