Ok so I've been looking around for a question that's about asking for a bra but doesn't exactly need one. So I'm 11 and so I have my breast buds (embaressed) and I wear some abercrombie shirts and their tight and you can see them through and also basically all my friends have one! Please don't say I need one cause I might. I've been thinking about asking my mom but I don't know what to do! It'd b really awkward and she might say no I'm not ready... Please help!!

Wear one of those shirts and show her that you need a bra or some kind of camisole top to wear under your clothes.

Girls develop at different rates. So saying all your friends have one is not a valid argument.

And, if wearing tight shirts embarasses you, then don't wear tight shirts. But I agree with Wondergirl, show your mother how you are developing and that you think you need a bra.

It clearly states in books about growing up and puberty that if a young girl going through puberty feels embarresed or uncomfortable when she wears certain things that she should def get a bra. I have a 9 yr old and she is also starting to show under her shirts so I took it upon myself to buy her bras without her asking me! You need to sit with your mom and tell her how you are feeling hun that is the only way she will know what's really on your mind! Us moms sometimes don't understand a lot of the emotions that go through your young minds, but we were once there, and I don't see why your mom would say no to getting you a bra. Sit down and talk with her, no matter how awkward you might feel, remember she was once your age! Good luck!!

Ok so I keep thinking about asking for a bra and so I could sort of use one. And so in 11 and a few min ago... This was really akward.. my mom asked me if I had boobs.. I guess she wasn't serious but I guess sort of sarcastic and so I was like uhhhhhh and she said boob buds? And I was like yeah. Im just wondering of you guys can maybe help me guess what she was thinking or maybe wanted me to get a bra... I really don't know please help!!

Sounds like that's what she wants to know -- and maybe she has noticed you need one.
