I usually have my period toward the end of the month and they last about a week and are very light. Two months ago I had a very long period (about 2 and a half weeks) and there was a lot of brown/maroon discharge which isn't normal for me, but I know things can change especially since I am only 21. Besides this, my period last month came around the 15th (which is expected) lasted a week, but the beginning of this month I had ANOTHER one that started on the 1st and was very light and short.

I've been waiting for my period now, it's the 19th and usually I get my period before the month reaches the 20's. (anywhere from the 13th to the 17th is expected) There is nothing, no cramps, no pain, no crazy sex drive. Instead, I have a very low sex drive for the past month or so, and for about a week my stomach feels abnormally hard. It is much easier to feel above my belly button and on the sides, but slightly below as well. I have no breast tenderness and they aren't getting larger. I took a pregnancy test about 2 months ago before the 2+ week long period that came out negative, I took one a few days after and then took one about a week after that. They were all negative.

Pregnancy is a possibility, I realize, but I just wanted to know about anyone's personal experience with these types of symptoms. Could this be some kind of hernia? Or something totally different.

I'd also like to say it's not "rock" hard, it's just the when I touch it there seems to be a thin layer of fat and then a really hard/tight layer beneath this. It's not uncomfortable or painful and my stomach isn't growing at all, it's just hard.

You aren't going to "FEEL" anything at 2 months, its smaller than a lima bean... have you taken a HPT yet, recently?

Not recently. Plan on going to get one as soon as possible, hopefully tomorrow. If my period is still missing in a week or so I plan to go to the doctor if an hpt still reads negative.

Maybe you will have your period and everything will go back to normal... stress can play games with your period being on time...

That's what I'm hoping for. I would love children but am currently trying to get through college and I am really hoping it isn't something worse. Never wanted my period so bad lol. Thank you, you have helped ease my mind a bit. I will still be looking into it but thanks again for commenting! I guess I just needed to hear it from someone else.
