I was asked by my US Air Force Airman to help him pay his vocational leave after this Deployment? Since he doesn't have access to his bank account over in the Base he's at in Kabul Afghanistan?

'Your' airman? How is he yours?
What are you asking for help with?
Whether to do it or not?
How to bankwire? To bankwire you go to your bank with his bank routing number and account number, and he has to sign something at his bank to accept bankwires.

Is this some one you never actually meet in person ?
Next he is already deployed, that is what they do when they go to the other nation.
If he is getting leave, he can normally get military transport out of country.
Next of course he has access to all of his money, they have internet and credit and atm cards and the such all on bases.
Sounds like someone is trying to scam you.
If this is a man you have known for years, someone you know in person, he sounds like he does not understand how it works

Ask yourself this question: What does his ability to access an account while he is overseas have to do with helping him pay for 'vocational leave' after he is back in the US?
How did you meet this person and what is your involvement with him? What reason has he given you for not being able to access his account?
