I have been restricting my calories each day to about 800-1,000 calories a day for the past 5 months. The last period I had was at the end of July, and it lasted a week. (It was kind of light) I haven't gotten my period, and I think it is due to the malnutrition. I am trying to gain back some weight to be 115 pounds. I am 5'2", and I lost my period when I was around 115 pounds, so I am trying to get back to that weight. If I eat a lot more, and exercise a lot less, will I get my period back? It hasn't been gone that long, and I have been getting discharge for about 3 weeks now, but I don't know if my period is going to come or not. I will get it back right? Thanks!

Yes, you lost your period due to your eating disorder.
Have you gotten help for this disorder yet?

Yes I am working on my eating disorder. I am trying to eat about 2,500 calories a day for quick weight gain.

Have you gotten professional help?
You don't want to gain the weight too quickly.

Yes. I have talked to people and I understand that starving yourself won't do anything. And I will gain the weight and then go on a healthy (but not restricted) calorie diet, and exercise a little bit every day.
And is getting discharge a sign of my period returning?
Thanks so much for your responses by the way. <3

What does "talked to people" mean? Are you getting weekly counseling?
