I was assaulted roughly in 2001.had a lawyer for about 6yrs. On my civil suit. And one day he suggests I find another lawyer. And not to close the book on my situation. I may have signed a paper. Not sure I don't have these papers in front of me at the moment.the accused was never charged. He needs to pay for what he did. I know my lawyer was intimidated. Accused had a team of lawyers.I got the bad end of the stick. Also had no money but he knew it was going to be a big payday. I recall the 1st sum of coin that was mentioned 1,000,000 down to 5,ooo what happened I'm not a lawyer. Who ever can bare with me. And give me an answer. As to is it too late to get this blank blank guy!

This is a worldwide site - what country is this?
I'm not sure what you expect from us, although your title is 'statute on assault.' Statute of limitations?
3rd question is why no criminal charges were filed? Was there a police report? Medical report, pictures of injuries?
You haven't given us much to go on. And what paper might you have signed, about what?

Agreed. It has been almost or more than 11 years. In most areas unless some paper work was signed and unless some case started, or some charges done, I would be too late.

Also sorry, attorneys are not normally intemidated, they do often not want to work for no pay, if they don't think they have a chance to win.
