A relative of mine is being accused of DUI/prescription drugs. She slipped off the road during a rain storm. No damage occurred to anyone or anything. She was simply trying to get back onto the roadway from a muddy shoulder.

She had a medical condition for which she was prescribed medications.
The blood test showed that she was only taking the medications prescribed.
The amounts were:
Hydrocodone, 16 ug/L
Oxycodone, 16 ug/L
Alpraxolam, 32 ug/L

I had ridden as a passenger with her driving, while she was taking these medications, and she was absolutely not impaired at all, and I am extremely cautious about these things.

Are these amounts considered an amount to impair someone?
Thanks,
Concerned relative

Many medications while even if prescribed legally... can land you in big trouble if driving while you are on them... as they have just found out.
