Hello to start with I'm a 20 year old female from Scotland and I do have some mental problems which some things might be attributed to and I still stay with my family.

The experiences happened when we were very young (all my siblings have experienced stuff happening aswell)

The living room always feels uneasy I don't like being in there or the hallway on my own especially at night. We've experienced the usual stuff like lights being on and footsteps but it is an old house but there are things I can't explain like the tap being on, the tumble dryer being on at 3am and the kettle switching it's self on. I've seen things out the corner of my eye and even seen full shadow figures, I can hear my mum shouting on me and when I go down stairs she isn't even in the house and sometimes there's no one even in the house. When I was younger and was in the down stairs room something pulled the covers off me and put a hand on my left shoulder and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a dream. (thats only happened once) and a few nights ago I heard what sounded like something being dragged on the floor in the kitchen at about 5:40am.
One night I also heard my brother scream sometimes he shuts the living room door because it just feels wrong there and one night when he went to do so he said the door was pulled back. My brother is 23 and he isn't someone who scares easily and has also experienced a shadowy figure before.
My sisters are 18 & 14 and they are in the down stairs room they've both said they hear what sounds like "someone with high heels walking on the floor" in their room and a shadow figure staring at Kirsty (the 18 year old) all during the night.

I'v told my mum and she thought I was mad to begin with till my brothers and sisters said as well. She thinks if something is in the house it's "friendly" but I'm now scared it's something just maybe pretending to be friendly and Im scared its using my mums voice to call me if it isn't all in my head.

I'd try either getting a new house or just move out of the state if you please. If it keeps happening, try to get in an area closer to the coast. Also, where do you live? I know people that have been having hauntings also in the middle of the USA. I'd like to know yyour Country and State. Maybe then I can help out a bit more. By the way, I've also seen shadowy figures, when I was in England, in Truro. Then we moved to the USA, in California, and well, now they're gone.

I'm not in the US, I live in central Scotland and moving out is not a option right now unfortunately.

Does not sound evil at all. Very minor as for as ghosts go ( if it is) furniture being stacked or moved around the house. All the dishes being moved from shelves and stacked on table.
Doors flying shut, things flying off the wall, shapes or shad.
Dows being seen regularly at certain times every day

Yours is not even enough to cause a person to lose any sleep

If you and your family are uncomfortable in your own home, I would recommend looking in to having it removed. Whether the spirit acts evil or not, I subscribe to the idea that it is not best to have a spirit hanging around. If you belong to a church, I recommend you speak with the pastor... or if you don't, find one. I'm not saying things will get worse over time... so do not think I am trying to frighten you... it may never get worse.
