I have a cat who is just over 1 year old. She was being boarded while I moved and she had the kittens in a cage at a shelter.(I read that a cat can get a cold if under stress during delivery) The same day she had them I picked her up and she had green mucus in her eyes and was sneezing a little. A few days later she developed a cough so I steemed up the bathroom and took her in hoping to rid the cold before the 3 kittens caught it. I noticed today that 2 of the kittens have been sneezing and one has been coughing. They are only 1 week and 3 days old. What can I do for them?

You'll need to take them to a vet.

There is nothing I can do before taking them in? I just paid a vet bill for the momma kitty. I will take them in if necessary but was hoping I could try like a heating pad or something of the sort?

You are risking their lives if you don't take them to the vet. This may not be a cold.

At their age I really wouldn't risk it, I'd go directly to the vet.

Even if it is just a cold, a respiratory infection (which is what a cold basically is) can kill a small kitten. You need vet care for these babies.

Did you end up taking them to the vet, or did they just get better on their own? Feedback is very important to what we do here. Your feedback would be gratefully appreciated. :)

I called a vet she said to start feeding kittens formula immediately but if the mama is still cleaning them to leave them with her. Our mama kitty is very loving and even though protective she has let us remove the kittens feed them and then when we return them she cleans them and makes them go potty. Still have one kitten that wasn't sick who is getting big! That one still feeds off the mom. They no longer cough or sneeze and are very active!
