I met a man online 3 weeks ago. He is 36, I am 27. He is an executive in one of the big local companies and I know that he is crazy passionette about his work, he loves it.

We communicate regularly, talking and texting pretty much every day.

However, in those 3 weeks, we only got together twice for a quick dinner. Is this normal? How am I supposed to get to know him if it is based on calls/texts? To his defense, he just go a big promotion and a very big task to complete at work. He works long hours, he even worked on Sat this week. The timing of Our meeting and the changes at his work kind of overlapped.

I just feel that there should be more effort on his part if he was as interested as he says he is, to meet in person more often. He keeps saying that we will get together soon, but it just does not happen. I know that he is meeting with his friends and attending other events, so it's not like he completely does not have free time.

Am I being too selfish? I am 100% supportive of his work, I just fear of getting involved with a man that cares about his work more that me. I work 3 blocks away from where he lives, we could be getting together every night, but I am not asking for that (I don't want to suffocate him), two maybe 3 times a week sounds fair.

Appreciate any of your views on this. Thank you.

He appears to have other priorities that are more important. Plan accordingly and don't get to into him at this time.
