I visit my mothers place very rarely and through the nights I wake up with lots of bite marks all over me. They look like mosquito bits but all together. They swell up very large into rashes, and burn on my body. My mother and her boyfriend live there with 3 of my siblings and they never get these marks. Many others visit there and also do not get them. I am the only one that gets them and I do not know why. We checked for bedbugs and there are none to be found. Only animals are cats but they do not have any bugs. Please can you try to help me understand why only I get these bits and nobody else does, and what are they? Please help!

It sounds like you may be allergic to something in your moms house. Most likely the detergent she uses, or the material on the bed.

We thought that too but its never in the same spot in the house and we use the same laundry soup and fabric softeners. We use all the same cleaners.

Have you had a complete physical done by a doctor? It could be something to do with you, something that has nothing to do with your moms house.

Not I didn't get one. I just got my family doctor.
I rarely visit her place n it only happened when I'm over at her place, this has been happening for about a year and half, it would be strange coincidence if it was me n not the house because its always at night n only when I'm at my moms.

The bites come only when you are sleeping?

No just at night. It happens when I'm awake or asleep there is nothing crawling on me n I don't see any bugs in the house or around.

Are there any family pets? Granted you haven't mentioned itchy eyes or sneezing, but I have seen the occasional cat allergy that results in itchy skin and red rash places.
Not just cats, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs?

No I've been around cats all my life, I have no allergies and the only symptoms I have are these red bumps

How often does your mother wash the sheets in that room, and vacuum the mattress?

No its where ever I am in the house. Sometimes computer chair, the couch, the bed, the floor. It won't matter where I am they just start to appear. :(

If you really do get them every time you are there, you aren't allergic to her cats or anything she uses or has, AND no one else gets them, then you are bringing them on yourself through the power of suggestion, which is very easy with skin conditions. A hypnotist can tell you the pencil in your hand is on fire and your hand will actually get a burn. It's possible that you had a rash the first time you were there for some small reason and it's now associated with being there. I see no other explanation, unless you are missing some product or animal or furnishing in her house. Which, if you don't like the idea of your mind doing this, you are going to have to look for more thoroughly. Latex? A certain food she serves?

I personally get nauseous (no rashes) in crowded book stores (the ink), clothing stores, and places with new wall to wall carpeting (both are treated with formaldehyde).

I have heard of that but for this case I can say it is not that. It keeps turning to bedbugs for this matter even the bits and everything are similar. But no one has found traces of them and I haven't brought any home with me, and no one else gets them... it doesn't make sense? Also I do not have allergies. I do get nauseous and sick to certain foods but so far none at my moms since this has been happening.
