Did you have sex after the period in December?
It sounds like they're basing your due date on your last period. When was the exact date of your last period?

With a due date of October 5, you most likely conceived on or around January 11.

I will assume that is the only time you had any sex ?
Sex with condoms is not 100 percent they have a 3 to 10 percent failure rate, so any other times you had sex with a condom could have been the time you got pregnnat also.
Due dates are figured often from information you provide on last period, and then latter from ultrasound, you did not say where the dates you have came from.
Next at best conception dates are give or take one to two weeks. There is no exact date unless you have only had sex once.
Just take care of yourself and prepare for the baby, there is no need to worry about conception dates, those are only estimates at best, and the baby will come when the baby is ready on his own time schedule.

It's not my pregnancy and like the 26 -30 for the period so is it possible if that was they only time she had sex because I don't think it having a period would make the baby seem younger than it really is she's 37 weeks yesterday but claimed that's the last time she had sex

Could you try writing that post again please? I'm having a very hard time figuring out what you're trying to say.

Also really what are the odds of that happening if that was the last time

The due date would have been in September if it was from intercourse in early December.
Are you worried about paternity?

Okay I'm sorry but I'm trying to say even if she mistaken the end of December for a period and it was really her spotting the baby would still develop regularly to where the doctor would see the baby was older than expected Right but the period was from like December 26 -30

So most likely the night the condom broke didn't get her pregnant ?

Are you a potential father, is that why you're worried about this?
The only way to determine paternity is with a DNA test after the baby is born. Due dates won't help.

Correct.
So most 9 times out of 10 there had to be another encounter with intercorse ?

When would the baby most likely been due from the sex in December ?

When would the baby most likely been due from the sex in December ?
When was the first day of her last period, the one in December? What cycle does she have, 28 days, 32..
Due dates are a best guess based on the last menstrual cycle. An ultrasound can give a better guess, but it's still a guess.
Truly, the only way to find out paternity is with a DNA test.

That's what I was wondering to would the ultrasound show the baby almost a month advance ?

Given that there is a month gap here I would have to agree that this is NOT from the sex on December 9.
If conception occurred on December 9, her due date would have been September 4.
Remember, this is my profession and I even have one of these at home... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/617mhiPFb6L._SL500_AA300_PIbundle-500000,TopRight,0,0_AA300_SH20_.jpg

Thank you so much your making the most sense I fully understand that DNA test is the only way but adding this up it doesn't make sense so
Even of the sperm lived for a week the baby would be born before oct 5

Yes, if the sperm lived for a week... let's say she was ovulating on December 9 when she had sex, and conception didn't actually occur until December 15, he due date would then be September 8.
In the end, a DNA test will have to be performed if she is to file for benefits, including child support.

Yes I think your right about that how possible is if that's the last time she had sex " " maybe she's just trying to lie and make him think it's his since the condom broke

She could get into quite a bit of trouble if she puts his name as father when trying to get financial aid and/or child support. That would be falsification of information. If she KNOWS that there might be another father she needs to come clean.

Chances are slim to none that she conceived on December 9 with a due date of October 5. Pregnancy lasts approximately 40 weeks, give or take 2 weeks. That's roughly 9-10 months, not 11 months.
