I am working with Windows 98SE. I have DSL internet service through my phone company. When I vist sites (and not all sites, just a couple different ones) my computer freezes. What causes this?

Could be any number of things. Do you have a good AV and anti-spyware utility?

I have Norton.

Is it up to date? What about anti-spyware?

Yes, I have spyware and my Norton is up to date

What anti-spyware do you use and when was the last time you scanned your system? What sites are causing you problems?

-How much memory in the computer (RAM that is)?
-Hard Disk space?
-Antivirus up-to-date?

These are might have something to do.
