I am in Maine. We were never married. My children are 5 and 8. My ex gave me a false name for her new instant protugese husband. (they internet dated for a month and decided to get married in US) after I was made aware of this we had custody agreement drawn up that gave me full custody of children. During her visitation days her new husband was not to be left in charge of the children. (due to his violent outbursts and need to smoke around the children) She knew the name she gave me was wrong as they had already married at the time. (day 67 he was in the country) She signed this document and it was overseen by a judge and then made official. Did she break the law doing this? Does it cover the husband still not being able to be left with the children even though the name is wrong? I am a disabled vet and I live off my pension. I still haven't paid the rest of my lawyer fees from this and I am afraid to get charged more money to hear there is nothing I can do. Looking for something I can do on my own. Any help is appreciated.
