My ex tried taking me to mediation back in June. Her lawyer called my lawyer told her what my ex wanted. My lawyer called me told me what date they were looking at and what my ex wanted. I told my lawyer that date didn't work because my wife was due with our 3rd child. And also that I didn't agree with what my ex was asking for and to just file the paperwork to take her to trial to finalize the order.

(my ex lost custody of our son 4yrs ago and has supervised visits with him. I have full custody, my order from 4yrs ago says its temp full custody because I hadn't had the chance to parent yet and they didn't know if I was any better than she was at it. She lost him because she hates me so much she can't promote me to him. Then about a yr after she got jail time on selling and doing drugs. That's when the supervised visits came in)

My lawyer said she would start the paper work. Her lawyer dropped her about a week later. We never went to mediation.

Today we had a docket sounding for our court date. She thought today was a court date. She showed up and was very confused according to my lawyer. My ex told the judge we didn't have mediation. The judge ignored her. Sched the date for court.

On my trial order it says

"if the parties wish to participate in additional mediation, they may stipulate or either may move for a second mediation order."

Will this effect the court date if she ask for another mediation? Will they cx the court date?
