My story goes as this, I met this man 20 years ago. At the time, we did not see each other for the first 3 months but talked on the phone every day. Then when I felt comfortable I met him for lunch. We started to date and everything seemed fine till one day he came to me to tell me that he had been living with someone. By this time I was totally in love with him and kept on seeing him till he came to me and told me that he was going to marry her. That is when I stopped all sexual contact but still continued to contact him. Then finally I ended that due to I met another man.

Unfortunately that relationship ended. Where did I end up. Contacting him. We again picked up where we left off. His wife left him and we were more or less living together for several months when all of a sudden he is communicating with his ex. Now he states this is due to his aging mom and that he feels obligated to help her financially.

But lately he has been secretive about talking to her and seeing her. I don't know what to do. Currently we are not living together and have caught him in several lies. Any advice? I am really having a hard time ending this relationship.

You started seeing a man who was cheating on his girlfriend. He cheated on his wife to be with you. Catching him in lies... why is this a surprise?

I agree, he cheated with you, he will cheat on you. Maybe with his ex, maybe with someone new, perhaps with both.
