I'm a female who has been dating a guy for about two years now. The problem is he has never told his babies mom that I exist. The child was born a couple months after we started dating. I had no idea a child was on the way and after admitting the truth of an upcoming child he refused to tell the girl (babies mom) about me; saying that she might make him pay child support or not let him see his child anymore. Now its been almost two years with him as an active father figure, sometimes even bringing the child with us as we go out. After seriously thinking about this NEW INFORMATION I adjusted and was willing to accept the fact. But now its just been so long, and I'm wondering if the reason he hasn't told her is because they are still together or trying to work things out. Though, he always trying to reassure me they have nothing to do with each other except for the baby. I'm starting to feel like a bad person, I don't want to hate the babies mom, but I don't want to be the OTHER woman, I would hate for him to be cheating on her with me all this time! I don't know what to do, I love him so much. Am I being impatient with him or am I just dumb to still be apart of this?

Something needs to change. You are going to grow to love his child and when things come to a head, like they must, you are not only going to lose him, you are also going to lose out on your relationship with the child - this will be devastating believe me. Time for him to take some responsibility. He should be paying maintenance for his child. And he should be honest with his child's mum. If he can treat her like that - just think about how he may be treating you.
