I got my tongue pierced 6 days ago and its been fine but I just realized that the be ottom ball of my tongue ring is literally going into my tongue like pretty much disappearing and I keep pushing it back down but it keeps going back into my tongue its not an indent its like the whole widened where it was pierced. Is it surpose to do that? I'm afraid its going to come all the way through my tongue or something.

I recommend getting it looked at. If you got it pierced at a reputable place, then the piercer should be well versed in possible issues.

That being said, I do have some experience with this. Did your tongue swell at all? Some people do not experience any swelling. When you get a tongue piercing for the first time, they use a longer bar bell to account for the swelling. However, if you do not swell, the length of the barbell causes it to lay down under your tongue. This causes the hole to lengthen or widen from the barbell not sitting straight up and down.

Also, the piercing needle could have been the wrong gage. If they used a larger gage to pierce the tongue that the actual gage of the barbell, then the hole would be larger.

Again, the best thing you can do is have a professional look at it.
