My hubby is in the music industry but he is not very computer literate and I okay but could be so much better, so between the two of us we run into problems here and there. My question is; sometimes people want to send him music they say where can I mp3 you this beat to. Well we use to have a guy we would have everyone send there music to, but it is so inconvenient for us. How do we have them send us the file. I know that I can't open the mp3 from my Yahoo account I have tried. We have a msn account so we're lost in that department and need some immediate guidance, can anyone help please. Is there some software we need to purchase, do we have to convert the mp3 file to something else when we get it. Please someone help... Thank you very much your attention and time is much appreciated.

You can save the mp3 to the computer and use windows media player to play it, it should be included with any recent version of windows.

The mp3 file will be received in your email as an attachment. You need to save the attachment to a folder on your hard drive. Once there, you can use any music player to play it. The default player is part of Windows as Lowtax mentioned.

I would like to know how do I send mp3 via my email. All my music files are in my media player. I know I can attach them as files and send them but I would like to know how to convert them from wma to mp3 and send them out, by the way the music I am sending out is mine, well my husband's he is in the music industry.

I don't know of other programs that can do this other than Cool Edit Pro, its easy to use for just converting, but not cheap, I'm sure there are other ways but this is all I've ever used.

What software is your husband using to create those wma files? The same program may have an option to create as mp3 instead.

We have all of our music in our windows media player. We used to have a guy burn the music for us on a cd and we just bring it home and pop it into the computer. So it just saves them this way I assume. But the person we have used in the past to receive and send music for us is no longer going to be available and hence we have to fend for ourselves. We always had people mp3 him the music and would call him and ask him to send music for us. Would just love to do it ourselves rather than depend on someone to do it for us.

Hi there are so many softwares in the market which you can use to convert between different audio formats (wma files to mp3 or vice-versa). I have been using Smart Audio Converter. There will be a trial version which you can download for trial but the full version with all the features are to be purchased.
Try the below link.

WMA to MP3, WAV and vice-versa. (http://www.smartaudioconverter.com/?id=sacov)

If you have the CD'S then Windows Media Player can RIP and save to MP3 select Rip Open tools, Options Rip and change format to MP3.

Hmmm.. I'm not sure why you are having a problem with receiving MP3's in your email, but if you can't get them to work, you could use a website like FileHost YourFileHost.com - Free hosting for ALL your files (http://www.yourfilehost.com/)

The website is free and will store the MP3's for you or anyone else who has the "URL" address for the MP3. You can ask people to upload the MP3's to FileHost and send you an email telling you what the URL address is. Then you simply download them.

The one thing you must be aware of is that although you can upload the files anonymously, File Host is a public website and it is possible for other people to see your MP3's.

Hi

Its not big issue, just what you have do is send your email address to your friend who want to send that file "preferd in Gmail" then he will attach that mp3 file and send it to you then download it on your computer

NO NEED TO CONVERT ON PURCHAS ANY SOFTWARE!!
U CAN PLAY IT IN MEDIA PLAYER WHICH IS ALREADY BUILD IN WINDOWS

"IF MY ANS IS USEFUL THEN RATE IT"
