Hi, I have some questions about decidual bleeding... So the 1st day of my last period was 8/8/12 and my cycle is a 27 day cycle so my period was due on the 4th... when it did not show up by that evening I went to the store and took a 1st response early pregnancy test.. the 1st one I took showed 2 lines one being very faint.. So I had drank some water and about an hr to 2 I had took another the 2nd was negative... I was tossing and turning all night So when I woke up at 7am I was no bleeding or feeling any pain anywhere I fell back asleep a few hours later and woke up to what felt like cramping and lower back pains something I might feel during my period and also was bleeding not so light but not so heavy either... Could this be Decidual bleeding or just my period arriving a day late when normally I have a 27 day cycle??

It could be either one, or could be something completely different.

The fact is you did have a positive pregnancy test, even if it was faint. False positives are very rare.

I would talk to your doctor about this.
