I have been with my boyfriend for 9 years now and we have one child together. The past few months I have not felt the same about him as I did when we first got together. Having a child together has made it a lot harder to just walk away as I would do if we didn't have one. When we first got together we were still in high school and my parents pretty much forced me to be with him. Looking back I wish I would have left then. I have tried to talk to him about it but he fly's off the handle about it (screaming, cussing and so on) and automatically assumes I am cheating on him(which I am not). He is very verbal abusive never physical just verbal and emotional. He is wealthy and knows a lot of people so every time I try to talk to him he threatens to take me to court and have his "buddies" take care of it by taking my daughter away from me. The only reason I have stayed with him is our daughter we have together but I feel that is hurting her as much as me. I am at a lost as to what to do. If I do leave him I will have to move in with my parents for the time being until I get my stuff together to get my own place. Do I stay together for our daughter or get out??

Staying in a relationship for one reason never ends well. You're already abused by him verbally and emotionally, why add a terrible and depressing relationship into the picture.

What you do is entirely up to you, but when is it that you're going to draw the line and say enough is enough?
