Chemical rxn which can propel a small toy car(2 pounds) and is non-corrosive and non-combustible (pls don't suggest baking lime+soda rxn)?? We also can't used compressed gases... Thanks in advance..!

Nope... not homework just challenged my friend over who could built a faster car propelled by a chemical rxn...

His design is much better and light than mine so... I thought may be I could gain an upper edge with better rxn...

Coke + mint flavoured menthos? :p

PS: Don't eat/drink that combination. Research the reaction on the internet if you want to know why.
