I have a 91 civic with a 92 d16 swap, ecm and wiring harness with an adaptor to thye dash and ignition harness. I have a new coil and the distributor is newer. Did the k test and it appears fine. Checked all fuses and they are fine. Not getting any spark though. I believe it's a wiring issue but can't find a reliable wiring diagram to trace and verify wire terminations. Any help would be appreciated. All grounds for the ecm I have located and verified, but I will check them for a good connection.

Replace the igniter. If no joy, install a new genuine Honda distributor housing--reuse your new igniter and coil.

Thanks, I replace the ignition coil but I will try the others.

Routing wire from ecu. The 21 icm wire is present but no 22icm wire. Are there suppose to be 2 wires to distributor

Replaced the distributor with all new guts, tracing wires from the ecu I foung that the a22 wire is not present from the ecu. a21 and a22 are the icm wires. Also found the a16 alternator control wire not present. Are these two needed? (probably yes I would guess). Sounds like I have a bad wiring harness adaptor.

Ran a k-test and it shows ecu is fine. Does that I can rule out ecu as a problem with no spark to my engine?

Yes.
Where do you think I should focus. Main relay is fine and I think ignition switch is OK. Bought a new distributor with new coil and igniter, but still not getting any spark. Want to find out what wires going to the igniter to check so I can verify its getting voltage from the ignition. Pin numbers a21 and a22 both say icm on my diagram. But only a21 is present. Does the icm ground a different way?

I would focus on the distributor, ensuring that I had a new genuine Honda distributor housing. I would install a new aftermarket ICM and coil. Swaps get messy.

OK. If the incoming voltage to the icm is correct and the ground is good than I can see the distributor. I want to verify the wires are doing their job too and its sending the signal. Ill trace the wires out first than if they work I know it's the distributor. Thanks for your help

All others are junk, in my opinion. Over 50% of new aftermarket distributors for Hondas have not worked at AMHD. The remaining ones have not been reliable.

Honda ones are aroung $500. Is there any way to tell if mine is working fine. I traded my 94 honda to a guy with this one. What a mistake. He has totally screwed me.

The genuine Honda distributor housing shouldn't be anywhere near that expensive. I hate getting involved with swaps--they are a can of worms.

How many volts should be going to the fuel injectors? I have a 1992 honda civic 16z engine

If the CEL comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then focus on the distributor.

Finally got spark. The distributor was bad and its working correct now. The injectors are the issue now. I have fuel to the injectors but not getting anything through. I have 12 volts to the injectors so I think they are plugged. Have some on the way.
