Ihave had fitted to my Caravan a Hydrolic Leveling system, the Caravan has an Alarm system fitted for Insurance purposes; but with the Leveling system has changed the 4 corner steady's of a screw desing to hydrolic rams.
Now the Wifi Alarm sensor on one of the legs will not work with the rams as it relies on the rotaional movement of a bar magnet and this has been lost with the rams.
I have built a small project box containing a small gearbox and small 90rpm electric motor to move the magnet for the sensor.
But I can't access the leveling systems internal elictrics as this would void the warranty.
So Question, is there a automatic type of switch that could monitor a live 12 volt feed to the leveling system that would turn on if the load on the leveling systems feed increased as the leveling system was activated thus being able to trigger the alarm?
Help Please.
