Garage door remote opens the garage door but won't close the door until I wait at least 3 minutes. I changed the batteries but that did not help. The door still won't close. The wall mount opener works fine it is just when I use the remote that the door will not close right away.

Just for the heck of it, clean the lens on the electric eye.
