I think castor oil is an old wives tale. If it works for you, keep using it. I see both yes and no on the various boards.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. What part of castor oil supposedly stimulates hair growth? It makes no sense, so yes, it's fake.

It won't harm your hair, but it won't help it grow either. If you want to use it, go ahead, but you'll be wasting your time and money.
