The month my husband and I try to have a baby was the month I didn't get my period. Thinking I may finally be pregnant, the 1st of the next month comes and I wake up to cramps & bleeding. What's going on?

We can't know - if you were on birth control before last month, that could have an effect. You could have just skipped a period anyway. You could be having a miscarriage. The embryo would be so tiny you wouldn't see it. Did you do any home pregnancy tests?

I've never done birth control & the blood & cramps are like any other period I've had. I was going to wait for this month to take the test, but I guess this is just a late period.
