Battery drains slow, sparks jump from shifter pedel to shifter linkage

Run but sometimes won't start unless jumped started or pushed started

The draining may be found with a lightbulb inline with a disconnected Battery cable. It will light with a drain. Try disconnecting wires to your regulator

The sparks I wonder if it is from the Neutral Indicator, which when it is grounded, the indicator lights, and if Isolated, could have a Voltage potential. Measure between the shifter and ground when the Bike is ON, NOT running, and OUT of gear and see if you have the voltage.

The slow drain could be causing it not to Electric Start? Could be touching Frame somewhere.

How did you discover the sparking? Had never heard of it? Metal Shoes?
