Do gator bite connectors come in 7/8th size?

Never saw one. What is this for. Are you sure its not 3/4 tubing? 1/2 nominal copper tubing is 5/8 OD

Here's the problem with your question. Is this 7/8 OD or 3/4" ID?
Let's take a copper elbo. Now a plumber's concerned with the amount of water INSIDE the fitting. Hence 3/4". Now a AC guy's concerned about the OUTSIDE of the fitting and what it will radiate. Hence 7/8ths". That was cool until the big box stores muddied up the waters by putting fittings in the plumbing section and marking them like AC fittings by oversizing them by 1/8". Thus our 1/2" fittings became 5/8ths and the 3/4" fittings became 7/8ths.
So now we have to ask every time a question like this comes up.
Do you mean ID or OD?
